Jantze Studios uses Brand Narrative™ to help YouTube help its community

July 2008: Jantze Studios has created the first instructional cartoon short for YouTube’s Community Support page using its patented Brand Narrative™ formula.

The two-minute 2D animated short "The Birds and the Biz" was written and directed by Michael Jantze, working with a YouTube liasion team to craft a narrative that both entertains and informs.

The project, culled from 10 scenarios, was completed in less than six weeks. In the style of their community, YouTube quietly released the video to its help page where it’s receiving 5-star acceptance.

Owned by Google, YouTube is one of the fastest growing Web 2.0 communities. You might have heard of them.

Jantze Studios partners with businesses to develop new media projects to create Brand Narrative™, a non-direct, positive association through humor, character and story. Contact us for more information.

Jantze goes from syndication to the Cannes Film Festival in one leap

May 2008: Michael Jantze, creator of the internationally-syndicated comic strip "The Norm" had his first animated short accepted into the Short Film Corner at Festival de Cannes 2008.

"Mr. Lux: At Your Service", Jantze’s first animated short, was part of the Short Film Corner at Festival de Cannes 2008.

"Mr. Lux: At Your Service" is a fast ride of traditional animation utilizing both pencil to paper animation and the latest in computer software. A new character from Jantze, Mr. Lux is only happy when he delivers five-star service to his hotel guests.

Jantze’s script was brought to life by a story team consisting of himself, David Andrews and Kelly McNutt. Jantze created the layouts and designs as well as directed McNutt’s animation.

Jantze Studios and Zits Partnership bring comic strips to life

In the fall of 2007, Jantze Studios has signed a deal with Zits Partnership, creators of the nationally syndicated comic strip "Zits", to develop three animation tests. The production will serve as research and development on how to economically bring Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman’s strip to life for purposes of supporting sales and marketing efforts of books, online and mobile phone content.

Since 2006, Jantze Studios has been developing a model for daily comic strip "episodes," 15 to 30 seconds in length, in the form of animated or motion graphic shorts that economically IP from the comic strip medium to short-form, cross-platform, revenue-enhancing new media markets.

The first short, "iPod" has been released to bookstores, online booksellers and YouTube to promote the Mothers’ Day release of the new book titled "Jeremy and Mom: A Zits Retrospective For Mom."

JANTZE STUDIOS partners with businesses to develop new media projects including webisodes, shorts, features, frequently asked questions (FAQ’s), games, print collateral, delivered across multiple platforms and to a variety of end user devices. Each project allows both the business and Jantze studios to explore the new media frontier with a bottom line on effectiveness and fiscal responsibility. The end result is Brand Narrative™, a product that creates a non-direct, positive association with the brand’s identity through humor and adventure, character and story.
